Who we are
Sakura Digital Market, trading as Niko.ai, ("we", "us") is the controller of personal data processed through this service. Contact: privacy@niko.ai.
What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Content you submit (chat prompts and outputs) — to provide the service. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Usage and device data (IP, browser, telemetry, analytics events) — to operate, secure, and improve the service. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to handle inquiries. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Payment metadata (subscription status, plan, customer ID) — to operate billing. Card data is handled directly by our payment provider; we do not store it. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Marketing — only with your consent.
Who we share data with
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, AI inference providers, analytics, and customer support tooling.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle) for the sale of our product: subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law.
Retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Analytics and telemetry are retained for up to 24 months. We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed.
International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact privacy@niko.ai; we respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege server roles.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and operate the service. We may use analytics cookies to understand product usage; you can control these in your browser settings.
Changes
We may update this notice. We will announce material changes in-app or by email.
